Mechanical Energy Storage Dynamic Voltage Regulation System
Frequency50 Hz,60Hz
Single unit Rate560-3600kVA
System RateUP to 32 units
The main unit adopts a synchronous generator, equipped with flywheel mechanical energy storage, and its power ranges from 560 to 3600 kVA.
Operating mode
Flywheel DVR is a voltage regulation system utilizing mechanical inertia energy storage to provide stable power for critical loads.
It primarily consists of a motor/generator, flywheel energy storage unit, reactors, and other components.
During normal utility power conditions, electricity drives the flywheel to rotate and store energy via the motor/generator. When utility voltage sags or fluctuates, the flywheel's rotational inertia drives the motor/generator to generate electricity, stabilizing the supply line voltage.
The online-operating reactor and motor/generator perform voltage stabilization, filtering, and reactive power compensation, effectively improving power quality.
